Scrap Recycling Forum

I am interested as to why people don't really recycle all over the country?
Do you find it difficult because there is no guidance or its simply too boring?
Or is it laziness, that if it was rewarding or more exciting you would get more involved?
Or simply that it isn't in your area? Finally the german government are fairly strict on recycling and it seems to be very successful over there, should local governments, etc be more demanding or employ different methods to make people recycle?

well laziness and people feel that that is not their work that's government work. but people have to realize that they have to be a part of it.

many people think that is a waste of time to stay and separate paper from glass or PET and so on, or they just simply don`t care about enviroment, or don`t want to go to the recycle centers, and so on

I would have to say laziness and there is no imediate benefit for them. People need to see the cause and reaction right away or else they dont care.

I think they are not lazy but less consciousness
I believe that local government should make many brilliant advertisement to attract public to recycle centers.

where i live there is a local law, so we have to recycle, there is also a fine if you dont recycle!!

local and national laws seem to be the way to make people recycle, fines if you dont, and have collections for the recyclable materials the same way as you have collections for your regular trash
