I'd say laziness.
As for awareness, some people in fact are not fully aware of the importance, but for the most part I'd say it's just laziness. When I see trash on the street, it's because of laziness. There's a trash bin on every corner and instead of throwing that wrapper or piece of food in there, people just drop it onto the sidewalk or road. And just how they don't properly dispose of trash, they'll slack off with recycling too. And while not everyone is like this, there's a handful of people who are.. |

Yes lazyness is the best answer but some people do not want to do the recycling they are not interested in the recycling.They want to do some other work as they interested in some other work.

i agree with everyone has said lol.
laziness is definitely the leading factor. the lack of economic gain is another main factor. i'm sure that if recycling paid more, people would be "on board" for recycling. but that shouldn't be the case. people should recycle because its the right thing to do, not because of possible economic gain. |
