I know to write codes in Visual Basic, i have learned it in my school days itself. Thats not a big deal yet it will be little touch to learn from home. So, go for the very beginning basic books that have simple and easy codes and start from then.

Hey i am Zero in Computer subject but i know to work in the computer as well as in the internet. With my knowledge in the computer field i think the above said courses are much more than enough to be known. Because these are the programming laguages that are in demand right now.
